Про раннее христианство:
Итак, сначала вера была одна - кафолическая, католическая (переводится как "всеобщая", "соборная") - и сразу же началась дикая борьба с "ересями", уклонами в любую сторону от линии партии, чтобы она одной и единой так и оставалась. Тем не менее, ничего более любимого и интересного для людишек, чем "ересь" (т.е. вольномыслие на отвлеченные религиозные темы), никогда не было, и где-то это было почти как спор, чья футбольная команда лучше играет в мячик, пинает слово "бог"... В общем, трудно было ереси сдерживать, много пришлось сечь, рубить, пороть, а всё бестолку - и, например, в середине 11 века вся эта церковь вообще переломилась пополам, потому как "всеобщим" противосстали "правильные" (т.е. православные). Никаких принципиальных отличий между ними нет (у одних целибат, у других белое и чёрное священство; у одних папа-отец, у других патриарх-батюшка, у одних дева Мария, у других святые угодники, одни крестят окроплением, другие погружением, одни крестятся пятерней, другие тремя - или двумя - пальцами, у одних развод почти запрещен, у других почти разрешён - и так далее; полный бред, бабские выдумки и склоки), просто одной херне не под силу весь мир захватить, всегда возникнет конкурирующая - и слава богу, хоть какая-то надежда на развитие через эту конкуренцию...

There are no fundamental differences between them (some have celibacy, others have white and black priesthood; some have a pope-father, others a patriarch-father, some have the Virgin Mary, others are saints, some baptize by sprinkling, others by immersion, some are baptized with five fingers , others with three - or two - fingers, for some divorce is almost prohibited, for others it is almost allowed - and so on; complete nonsense, women's inventions and squabbles), just one bullshit cannot take over the whole world, a competing one will always arise - and thank God , at least some hope for development through this competition...

Почему, всё-таки, христианству сначала стали покровительствовать (при императоре Константине), а потом и сделали его государственной религией? Ведь это явно экстремистское, максималистское учение, абсолютно неудобное, практическое несовместимое с государствами и властью! Не случайно же Иисус и апостолы были убиты ими! Во-первых, власть уже увидела, как христианство трансформируется в "нормальную", в обычную религию , где главными становятся очередные обряды и ритуалы, приправленные красивыми, напыщенными словесами. Попы уже жаждали признания и хорошей жизни, уже были готовы к компромиссам... А главное, Константинополю была нужна своя идеология, свой "коммунизм", свой допинг. Если просто перелицевать старое язычество, допинга не будет, будет имитация, ширма и в Риме будут смеяться... А зачем допинг? - потому что дряхлела римская империя, погрязла в раздорах - как воздух, было необходимо что-то, что объединяет. И то, что поднимает.... Вообще, Византия была ещё очень молода и потому предприимчива, восприимчива к новым идеям... В общем, они стали строить свою разновидность коммунизма и сразу людишкам жить стало лучше, жить стало веселей... Поэтому, как и при том же Сталине, кругом был двуликий Янус: внизу позволяли резвиться христианам-фанатикам, а вверху был крепкий договор с императорской властью, мол, у вас будет пряник, а у нас - кнут, вы будете пропагандой и СМИ, а мы - МВД и армией...

The priests were already thirsty for recognition and a good life, they were already ready for compromises... And most importantly, Constantinople needed its own ideology, its own “communism”, its own doping. If you simply remake the old paganism, there will be no doping, there will be imitation, a screen, and they will laugh in Rome... Why do doping? - because the Roman Empire was decrepit, mired in discord - like air, something was needed that unites. And what raises.... In general, Byzantium was still very young and therefore enterprising, receptive to new ideas... In general, they began to build their own version of communism and immediately life became better for the little people, life became more fun... Therefore , as under the same Stalin, there was a two-faced Janus all around: below Christian fanatics were allowed to frolic, and above there was a strong agreement with the imperial power, they say, you will have the carrot, and we will have the stick, you will be propaganda and the media, and we - Ministry of Internal Affairs and the army...

Не знал, что нимбы святых родом из нимбов на изображениях императоров, и они обозначали солнце (в поздней римской империи был культ солнца) . Империи и императоры всегда были "сакральны", т.е. священны и изначально император был и главным священником, но Константин отказался от этой схемы, боясь что христианство будет сковывать его на войнах и в репрессиях (!)

Почему христианство - хороший допинг? Потому что оно, как и коммунизм, обращено к простому народу, "пролетариям"; потому что оно основано на чудесах (коммунизм тоже основан на приносящем чудеса техническом прогрессе); потому что оно обещает рай (коммунизм тоже обещает); потому что оно обещает бессмертие (технический прогресс коммунизма давал надежду и на это; на крайняк можно было принять идею реинкарнации). Опять же, мораль и благие намерения - противление всеобщему блядству ведь заложено в душу каждого человека. Типа, у нас будет братство (в коммунизме - товарищество), мы будем едины (для огромных государств и империй это очень важно), мы перевернем этот зловонный мир, погрязший в бесконечных войнах (коммунизм возник, когда докатились уже и до мировых, гомерических войн). Ещё и фарисейство хотели отвергнуть, а демократию ввести (опять Маяковского вспомнил: "вот бы ещё одно заседание - против всех заседаний")... Сравните этот комплекс идей и настроений с каким-нибудь Аполлоном или Юпитером - ну да, это красавцы, молодцы - но кому они помогают, что обещают?! Бесполезная "золотая молодежь" и не более; образец явно для одних только богатеньких, а с жизнью бедняков совершенно никак не связаны... Типа американской мечты - "всякий может стать миллионером и аполлоном" - но с веками вера в это терялась, становилось слишком очевидно, что следующим "генералом" становится только сын предыдущего...

Why is Christianity a good dope? Because it, like communism, is addressed to the common people, the “proletarians”; because it is based on miracles (communism is also based on technological progress bringing miracles); because it promises heaven (communism also promises); because it promises immortality (the technological progress of communism gave hope for this too; in extreme cases, the idea of reincarnation could be accepted). Again, morality and good intentions - opposition to general whoreness is embedded in the soul of every person. Like, we will have brotherhood (in communism - partnership), we will be united (for huge states and empires this is very important), we will turn over this stinking world, mired in endless wars (communism arose when we had already reached world Homeric wars ). They also wanted to reject pharisaism and introduce democracy (Mayakovsky again remembered: “if only one more meeting would be against all meetings”)... Compare this complex of ideas and sentiments with some Apollo or Jupiter - well, yes, these are handsome guys, well done - but who do they help, what do they promise?! Useless “golden youth” and nothing more; a model clearly for only the rich, and has absolutely nothing to do with the lives of the poor... Like the American dream - “anyone can become a millionaire and an Apollo” - but over the centuries, faith in this was lost,it became too obvious that only the son of the previous one would become the next “general”...

А сначала, до императоров христианство прижилось и распространялось , потому что родилось оно в эллинистическом мире - очень просвещенном (и поэтому Евангелия и высокоинтеллектуальные послания Павла было кому читать и понимать ), но одновременно в нем и глухих уголков - типа, Иудеи - было немало (а только в глухих уголках могут зародиться легенды - и только легенды, чудеса могут зачаровать народные массы). Т.е. да, без Павла бы не было христианства - но без чудесного Иисуса оно бы никогда не стало массовым. Всё совпало...
Но, кстати, для интеллектуалов Павел не менее чудесен, чем для народа Иисус - ведь его не с кем сравнить, он с лёгкостью переплюнул любых гомеров, платонов и горациев... (которых читать можно только через силу - по себе знаю)

А инициатор второго гонения Галерий смертельно заболел, слег, пораженный некой формой гангрены, и на смертном одре своим эдиктом разрешил христианам быть. Прямо так и записано: «Пусть будут христиане». В итоге, уже через пару лет их преемник Константин сдался и признал христианство (увидел даже "христианское" знамение во время своей очередной битвы). Правда, крестился, опять же, только на смертном одре... А уже при его ближайших преемниках вооруженная и бронированная, как носорог, гос. машина развернулась на 180 градусов - и стала преследовать уже язычников. А "христиане" заняли языческие храмы...

True, he was baptized, again, only on his deathbed... And already under his immediate successors, the state machine, armed and armored like a rhinoceros, turned 180 degrees - and began to persecute the pagans. And the “Christians” occupied pagan temples...
