My painting depicts three drummers in a more relaxed mood, may be posing for the camera before the pagent begins. The torches behind illuminates the night sky and brings out a festive spirit.
I have used Winsor and Newton and Rowney oil colors on canvas.The color scheme reflects the pagent.

I started painting from the time I started kindergarten. My first teacher was my mother who introduced me to color and let me use my own imagination. I was actively involved in art at school level winning many prizes. I took a long break to further my higher education and raise two wonderful kids. Later on  with my husbands encouragement I started to learn watercolor under a professional artist while developing my own style in acrylic and oil color. I have participated in two joint exhibitions .

I love nature and human figures .I try to bring out texture and simplify things in my works.Color is some thing I use to attract the viewer and I mostly try to  select nature as my source of inspiration
