Daria Kovalova is a Ukrainian artist whose work reflects a life of movement, resilience, and transformation. Trained in academic drawing and architecture, she explored dance and lived across multiple countries, each experience leaving a subtle imprint on her artistic vision. Time in China exposed her to new cultural influences, while the war reshaped her perspective and deepened her connection to art. In Turkey, she fully embraced oil painting, refining her figurative style and developing a distinctive approach to detail, texture, and transparency.

Now based in Krakow, she works on larger canvases, creating expressive compositions that balance structure with fluidity. Through her art, she seeks to capture purity and elegance in every stage of life, regardless of its challenges, portraying moments of grace, peace and light that transcend circumstance.
