The series of paintings "Divo Divnoe" (The Amazing Wonder) is an evolution of art, a deep, sentimental respect for tradition, and the full immersion into the artwork with the help of the ancient, historical symbol of the matryoshka (the Russian nested doll). It is a performance of its own, where the viewer is directly involved through glimpsing their reflection in the glassy copper surface of the canvas, for a moment writing themselves into history.
