Dancho Atanasov

Dancho Atanasov has always been deeply immersed in the arts, beginning with drawing, painting, and playing classical guitar during his primary school years. His introduction to photography came through his uncle, a former skydiver and practicing photographer. His uncle shared his cameras with Atanasov, which he eagerly took to the air club. During the 1980s, while serving as a jet fighter pilot, Atanasov often carried his camera on less complex flights, capturing aerial views despite the limited technical options available at the time.

His career took a significant turn when he worked for four years as the chief editor and photojournalist for a travel magazine. The further step in his artist’s carrier is Conceptual Photography Class accomplishment (2 Levels + Master Class: 2015 – 2017). These roles were instrument in refining his perspective and honing his photographic skills. The artist left his time as a combat pilot and air traffic controller behind and now works as fine art photography artist at Art Of Dancho.

Dancho believes that the best way to communicate with his audience is through the synergy of shapes, colors, light, details, and the choice of point of view. His goal is to achieve harmony and aesthetics in his work.
He currently combines photography with new art media as 3D animation, music, VFX
