艺术图片银行The arrangement of the materials is not random but seems to follow an internal, almost musical rhythm, where each segment dialogues with the others in a well-orchestrated choreography. The use of frayed fabrics and irregular edges accentuates the tactile dimension of the work, making it almost sculptural. In this sense, the artist seems to want to explore the boundary between painting and installation, between order and spontaneity.
The work does not impose a defined narrative, but rather invites the viewer to reflect on matter, time and imperfection as an element of beauty. It is a visual research that welcomes the unfinished as an integral part of aesthetics, leaving room for individual interpretation and subjective emotion.

Chiara De Zan (1987, Friuli Venezia Giulia) began her artistic journey in 2009, developing a research that crosses collage, painting, photography and digital arts with a material and poetic approach. Her practice is based on the use of marginal and waste materials — worn paper, damaged fabrics, natural pigments — recomposed in compositions that investigate memory, the body, fragility and the territory.
Since 2018 she has participated in group and solo exhibitions, collaborations and interdisciplinary projects, proposing works in which the analogical gesture dialogues with sensorial perception, returning narratives full of silence, waiting and transformation.
Among her most significant works are Giallo Pigro, Cavalco la Maladia, Nonno Santo and Madame Snips, works in which the tactile, visual and digital dimensions merge to tell stories of resistance and hidden beauty.
