Chiakia is an Italian painter and sculptor.

Since her childhood, she has always shown interest in art, astronomy and the oneiric world and these are recurring theme in her artwork. She attended art school and after graduation she started her artistic career by experimenting with different techniques. Her work focuses on the need to express emotions deeply and create a link between souls to blend in harmony with the surrounding environment. Her figurative representations with soft and delicate features transmit tenderness and nostalgia for a sweet and gentle innocence of memories and the illusory emotions linked to them.

Through my works, I want to accompany the observer in a dream scenario between the melancholic and the surreal where it makes room for solitude from everyday life and a poetic representation of the passage of time. In my oil paintings I use cool tones combinated with nuanced and soft brush strokes to give the illusion of observing a dream or a memory.
