Working in different media but with a similar objective has always produced interesting results. My current experiment is in the visualisation of a feeling of the relief aspect on the surface as well as the perspective in the colours used. Starting with the totally 3 dimensional surface of the stone fresco objects I was able to invent, this idea became possible in the prints using the viscosity technique for the printing of deeply etched plates as well in paintings on canvas using different medium for adding a raised surface and texture. I then graduated to the digital print created on my computer. How far can an artist go on a entirely flat surface with only the colour perspective to guide him ?
