Ceedee

Ceedee was born in Kinshasa in 1949, where she spent her youth. She studied graphics, publicity, painting and ceramics in such schools as Sint-Lukas, Antwerp.

She spent several months in the United States in 1968 and was acquainted with Elaine and Willem de Kooning. Awareness of change and innovation form the foundation of her work. Movement, silence, looking at everything in her surroundings, problems arising from variability of things, and people…
