My first impression of a Canadian city was this piece, which I saw 13 years ago on my first night in Toronto after arriving from Dubai. I was so jet lagged that I spent the entire night up on the hotel balcony, watching the foggy dawn of Toeonto. I am using only a palette knife and haphazard brushstrokes to create transparent layers of acrylic paint. [...]
