Herta
Valeriu Herta was born in the village of Bardar, Moldova in 1960. The first professional debut of his artwork took place in 1981 in "National Exposition of Ex-libris” in Moldova. The following year (1982) Mr. Herta graduated from Chisinau Polytechnic Institute, Urbanite Faculty, architect.
Since 1995, Mr. Herta has been a member of the Moldavian Union Artists' Association and a permanent fixture in plastic art. He often received "Honorable Mention" for his work in Competitions around and in Moldova and Romania.
The artist is presented in Encyclopedia Bio-Bibliographique of the art of the International Contemporary Ex-Libris volume XXIV (1999) by Artur Mario da Mota Miranda, Portugal and in Encyclopedia of contemporary Romanian artists (2012). Presented in german Encyclopedia “ ALLGEMEINES KUNSTLER – LEXICON”
2010 – 2011 worked to restore Lithography Workshop in Moldova.
