I want to present to you my painting Fairy and Golden Pangolin.
This painting was painted with oil and acrylic paints on canvas.
Its size is 120x150 cm.
When writing it, I also used gold leaf.
It depicts a girl with red hair and butterfly wings
(I used the wing coloring of the Nymphalis xanthomelas)
The girl sits astride a golden pangolin surrounded by tropical flowers.
From the black background in the background, you can understand that the action is taking place at night.
As if someone suddenly turned on a flash or a flashlight and accidentally witnessed this fantastic picture.
When you start looking at the painting, you will notice animals, lizards, birds and insects hiding behind the foliage.
Panglolins are predominantly nocturnal.
Pangolin is depicted in gold to show that this species of mammals is very valuable and is on the verge of extinction.
He is often killed by poachers for the sake of scales and meat, which is considered magical and delicious.
The girl is a symbol of the spirit of the forest.
