Mark was impressed and annoyed at the same time, he asked:
- Mom, why do these animals die ?!
- They were killed by poachers, - I replied.
- But why?
- Because of their horns, which cost a lot of money. And now scientists are protecting the remaining two and trying to save the species from extinction.
- And if they do not succeed, what will happen?
- These rhinos will disappear, just like dinosaurs once disappeared.
- And what, even in the zoo you won't be able to see them ?!
- Unfortunately not, son.
Mark was upset, and it made me think about what kind of legacy we will leave to our children if we don't stop treating nature so cruelly. After all, these rhinos are far from the only small treasures of our planet. It was this story that made me want to create a collection of paintings called "Disappearing Treasures". And to show people how beautiful this world is in detail, and how important it is to try to preserve it in order to proudly pass it on to our descendants. And in the opposite case, instead of living beings, only images will remain ...

My name is Anna Shabalova and I`m full-time and independent professional artist from Ukraine. In many of my works, you will find kind of surreal stories filled with positive imagery, vibrant colors, and unexpected details, in which my personal view of such a rich world around us is reflected. I know that I always have something to tell people, and with the help of my art, I create my own picture of the world. My artworks are found in private collections in the USA, Israel, Europe, and Ukraine. Among my works, customers will find that special painting that will perfectly decorate their interior.
