THEY ARE MY EVERYTHING (2019) 绘画 由 Ania Modzelewski

From a latchkey kid, whose day’s highlights was a few hours spent at the community art in Lodz, Poland- somehow- I grew up to become a fully unsupervised adult doing art in Kailua, Hawaii. Places, climates and continents have been changing over the yers, only my fascination with colors and shapes remains constant, growing into obsession.
As I roamed through Europe, Africa, Canada and the USA; my art studio was always organized first, before the kitchen table and my bed found their places.
Eventually I landed in the most beautiful place on Earth- Hawaii, where the splendor of landscapes is matched by gorgeous bodies of young gods and goddesses playing on the beach, just outside my studio windows.
Now I just need to absorb this beauty, let my mind digest it and let my hands render an image in clay or oil. Strangely my imagination favors sensuous human bodies. What a girl can do? I am, who I am. I feel that a beautiful human body is God’s ultimate statement and I pray at this altar.
My sculptures and paintings can be found in Poland, Canada, Great Britain, Slovakia and the US. Locally in Waikiki hotels and Honolulu Galleries, but I get most fun by showing them in my house and studio, just next to Kailua Beach.Nothing beats the very personal interaction with people who interact with my creations. I listen. Patrons inspire and challenge me to do more.
