Crypto Danae (2021) Картина - Andrei Sinukhin

Russian artist, born in Leningrad, USSR in 1971. Studied at St Petersburg Academy of Arts, studio of Vsevolod Aktsinov. Member of the St Petersburg Union of Independent Artists since 2001. 

I've been drawing since childhood, but painting didn't become my life's work until 1992.

I always write what happens to me: events turn into pictures, so they are joyful, and sad, and monstrous. In many ways, I don’t realize this process: it’s always an impulse, a sharp desire. Subjective emotions determine the bright colors and perception of reality - spatial and geometric. 

Anyway I have been writing all my life: in some periods I actively exhibit my works, in others I can fall into static. Many of my paintings are in private collections in Russia and all over the world.
