Anastasia Dobakhova

I started my artistic journey when I was just six years old, enrolling in art school. For 11 years, I learned the foundations of fine art, and later continued my studies at the Institute of Fine Arts and Design. After graduating, I fell in love with sand animation, performing at events, shows, and sharing my skills through workshops.
A Turning Point:In 2015, everything changed when I moved to Portugal. The ocean and the bright, beautiful landscapes inspired me in ways I hadn’t expected. This new environment reignited my love for painting, sparking a fresh artistic direction.
My work is inspired by very different parts of Portugal
Techniques and Style:I focus on watercolour and oil painting, maintaining the technical precision of my art training, while bringing in the expressiveness and vitality of the Portuguese landscape. The ocean and surfing, along with the rich textures and colours of Portugues nature, are recurring themes in my work.
