This series symbolize the brevity of life and its constant changes. That’s why I chose insects - they experience transformations throughout their life and live from few days to few months.

It’s a metaphor. Life is fragile and fulminant and it’s changing so fast. In our lives we also have the larval, pupal and imago stage. Before achieving the imago stage or “final” one we have to go through all the previous ones. Imago here represents the inside transformations, the growth of the personality.

This series is very special to me, it also represents the state my life is in right now. In addition I feel that the very soul of the object is captured in the painting.

This is oil on glued unprimed linen canvas.
The gelatin glue makes the linen sparkle on the light, it’s very beautiful but not in a garish way, it’s hard to show it on a photo.

The linen is stretched by me with love :)

I sign these works on the back, because signing it on the front kills the magic )) but of course I can sign on the front on you request.

No words can explain the joy I feel in the process of painting. For me to be able to see the result of my work and be happy with it is pure happiness!
I'm painting animals, horses mostly because I feel this indescribable craving for it. Horses mean something very important to me, this subject connects me with one lifechanging event that happened a while ago and also something else that I myself might not know yet.
All in all I'm just trying to be closer to nature by painting it :)
When painting an animal I try to show its character firstly, express the power and wildness of nature, pure energy but also the soul.
I work in oils mostly, a little in graphics, and not very often in acrylic.

I have few exhibitions and some awards in my portfolio and I don't intend to stop!:)
