This painting depicts the image of a woman hidden behind a mask, symbolising the multifaceted nature of the human being and the complexity of the inner world. The mask, made in a non-standard technique, creates the effect of multi-layering and dynamics, as if it were moving, reflecting the changes and transformations occurring in the life of each of us.
The woman's face becomes a metaphor for exploring the problems of time and human existence. Every detail of the mask is a reflection of the societal expectations, fears and hopes we carry on our daily lives. The gaze, though hidden, is imbued with emotion, raising questions in the viewer about what lies behind this shell, what feelings, thoughts and aspirations remain invisible to others. The technique of the painting emphasises the rebellious spirit, the desire to go beyond the ordinary and challenge standards. It invites the viewer to reflect on how we construct our lives, how we choose which mask to put on depending on circumstances, and what happens when we decide to take it off.
This work is not just an image, but a deep reflection on time, identity and the courage to be real. It invites a dialogue about the importance of being aware of our inner world and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, open to change and new possibilities.

I am a person outside of time and space. By wearing a mask, I can be both the ghost of the opera and the person who is always laughing. Or I can be a visionary artist who defies the established norms and wants to form a new social consciousness.
