Alexandra was born in 1980 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television with a degree in film and television director, and studied for 2 years at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts Ilya Repin, majoring in academic drawing.          

Alexandra took part in various international and national exhibitions, including the IV International Exhibition of Contemporary Art “ArtExpoSPb” at the LenExpo Exhibition Hall in St. Petersburg, Alexandra’s personal exhibition was held at the Pu-Er gallery in St. Petersburg, and took part in the Ninth Exhibition “ Youth of St. Petersburg" in the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg.      

There are no exhibitions planned for this year yet, as her son is 1,10 years old. Currently, Alexandra lives and works in St. Petersburg.     

"Engaging in artistic practice is a craft in which I strive to find and convey the harmony of color, shape and light in natural matter or abstract images.    I usually paint the shapes of nature in oil jn canvas. I select a format, take a pencil, make a sketch, then an underpainting (not always). On a palette with oil paints, I select the desired color to more accurately convey the color of nature. I work with brushes on cotton or linen canvas.Sometimes I use a palette knife for details. In my works I strive to use the principle of the “golden ratio”. Sometimes I use technique of layering paints to convey depth.     I make abstract paintings with acrylic paints, texture paste, and various materials that help bring the idea to life.     Artistic practice for me is a different way of understanding the world and describing this world. The opportunity to let other people see, feel and experience it through my paintings."
