Vivo e lavoro a Padova e come altri artisti contemporanei mi sono formato al di fuori dell'istituzione scolastica. Negli anni ’70, mentre già lavoravo, ho intrapreso il mio percorso artistico frequentando  la “Scuola Internazionale della Grafica” di Venezia, dove ho appreso le tecniche calcografiche.  Successivamente ho sperimentato la tecnica dell'acquerello e altre tecniche su carta. Dall'inizio degli anni '90 ho cominciato ad ispirarmi in maniera ampia alla pittura astratta italiana ed in seguito alle correnti artistiche dell'Astrattismo americano. Da qui ho iniziato a sperimentare l'uso di materiali industriali e di riciclo quali cemento, gesso, colle viniliche, juta, colori acrilici e carte. Queste esperienze sono state la base per organizzare nel  tempo laboratori artistici per bambini e adulti, coniugando improvvisazione, fascino per i materiali e creatività. Nelle opere più recenti, ho privilegiato i temi dell’ “improvvisazione” e dei contenuti “simbolici” in arte, attraverso una ricerca personale e poetica in continua evoluzione.

I am an artist living and working in Padova, an historical town in North-East Italy. As many other artists of the 20th century, I got an unformal education outside the art schools. In the 70s,  besides working, I started my artistic pathway in Venice, attending the International School of Graphics, where I learned the major chalcographic techniques. Then, I experimented watercolor and additional painting techniques on paper. From the beginning of 90s I started to get inspiration from the Italian and the US Abstract art movements. Upon that period I was deeply attracted by the use of industrial and recycled materials such as concrete, chalk, vinylic glues, juta, acrylic colours, papers. Such experience has been the basis for developing children and adult art workshops, where creativity, passion for unusual materials and spirit of invention were combined together. In the most recent period, I privileged art themes such as “improvisation” and “symbolism”, that represent the ongoing path of my present artistic research.
