The author has gone a long way as an artist.
Aleksandr has been drawing since childhood, mostly pencil illustrations for books and films, he also tried himself in the genre of portrait.
Then there was a period of passion for painting plastic miniatures, working with acrylic paints. Then he devoted himself mainly to oil painting, working with a palette knife in the impasto technique. This style can be described as expressive impressionism. The main subjects of this period were landscapes and flowers.

Currently, Aleksandr is focusing on the exploration of the theme of existential crises, the search for supports, goals and meanings. As a result, considerable attention in the author's work is paid to the themes of memory, desires, feelings, images that are born in the human mind under their influence.
The artist's contemporary works refer the audience to the symbolism of Magritte, Giacometti and other authors. Aleksandr rethinks the legacy of artists of the past, entering into a dialogue with artists who have already passed away.

As for the medium, the author currently works mainly with acrylic paints. In addition, the artist experiments extensively with textiles, using them in his works as elements of drapery or as parts of a collage. Oil pastels have also become one of favorite mediums.

Aleksandr is a member of the Eurasian Art Union. His works are in private collections. He participates in exhibitions and competitions in Russia and other countries. His works have been awarded diplomas.

Aleksandr collaborates with Galeria Azur, Madrid since 2022.
