My name is Julia, I am an oil and acrylic painter living between Spain and Russia. I specialize in portraiture, figurative art, and conceptual oil paintings.
Remember how everything around you once filled you with wonder as a child?
My goal is to revive that feeling and keep it alive within you through my art.
In my work, I experiment with various themes and approaches: from portraits that aim to capture natural beauty, to original ideas born from imagination. If you’d like to learn more about my series, I invite you to explore the corresponding sections of this site. I hope you’ll find your own story there—one that may not be fully expressed in words, but can certainly be felt with the heart.
From a very early age, I perceived the world through a prism of color—where every emotion, every name, and even each season seemed to have its own unique hue. Drawing became my primary way of understanding reality, and by my teenage years, I realized it was more than just a hobby—it was my calling.
Even in my earliest pencil sketches, I tried to capture what inspired me, with color always remaining the language of feelings that words couldn’t express.
I’ve always been captivated by the beauty around me—be it the vibrant palette of nature or the diverse allure of the human form. Over time, I wanted to share this love with the world and show it as I see it. Adults often say that as we grow up, we lose the heightened sensitivity we once had as children. My goal is to preserve that childlike ability to notice details and delight in them, without “closing our eyes” to simple wonders.
Have I succeeded? I’ll let you decide.
