The artist Zilya Akhmetova was born in 1990 in Kazan. Graduated from Kazan College of Technology and Design, Kazan Federal University and the Institute of Arts. After graduation, she moved to Moscow and worked as a fashion designer.

After her marriage, in 2017, she decided to devote herself entirely to art and creative activity. Since that time, she has been actively engaged in painting. The main style is impressionism.
