I am a self-taught artist. Eventhough being an active person in my daily life, when it comes to painting, I might not get up for ten hours in a row. Painting is more than just passion for me, it’s even more than loving it, it’s even more than joy of life, it’s such a deep feeling which I cannot put into words.
On a random day I spontaneously decided to paint something and I only saw it then that it was such a good feeling that I could hold on for hours, it felt like I was diving into my paintings which I was making myself, and when I finally looked at my first finished painting after 5 hours, I decided to show it to the most honest person I know in my life, who saw the real value in it. I was proud of myself and my soul was filled with joy, right at that moment I found out that I had touched her soul. Right after I found that out, I decided to give my paintings away as a gift to people I love when I saw that I could touch their souls. So that was exactly the moment that I realized that I wanted to be a painter and this talent was a gift. Therefore I am a half Russian painter based in Turkey.
