This artwork is made on an OSB (Oriented Strand Board) wooden board on which I applied layers of acrylics and resin leaving the wooden slats that make up the board clearly visible.

The artwork offers an intense reinterpretation of the portrait through a rich materiality and a vibrant palette of blues contrasted by warm accents.
The textured surface suggests a material research that gives depth and three-dimensionality to the composition.
The layering of materials creates a dynamic surface and the free brush strokes and the shading of the features give the portrayed female figure an aura of mystery.
The gaze, rendered with penetrating blue eyes, possesses a remarkable expressive force, communicating emotional depth.
The soft light delicately models the face. The work evokes an atmosphere suspended between dream and reality, blending figuration and abstraction in a suggestive and stimulating way for the observer.

From 2001 to December 2014 I had a short break...
In the end of december 2014 I re-started with arts... painting...

Now I'm living a full immersion art situation: every life's moment is a great inspirations for painting it.
I love painting abstract scape (land, sea, urban); sometime I paint people.

For me, painting is to "block the time" in that exactly moment; it's often a faded memory so my artworks are consumed, eroded by time.
Sometime I paint walls also eroded by time, with mosses and mushrooms grown on the walls.

Passing time is the main topic of my works.

I come from a beautiful experience of modeling clay, so I love the sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch and my artworks are characterized by relief, thinking to sculpture.
