Cursa estudios en la Escuela Municipal de Arte y Diseño de Barcelona (Massana) y se gradúa en Artes Aplicadas. Se especializa en Diseño Gráfico y Pintura.
Muestra su obra en salas de exposiciones, instituciones y colecciones privadas de Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Coruña, Valencia, Valladolid, Logroño, Burdeos, Aviñón, Albi, Brescia, Girona, Abu Dhabi y Nueva York.
Pons Tello experimenta con composiciones matéricas elaboradas con resinas minerales y hierro oxidado. Establece un diálogo con las piezas metálicas, con los objetos de desguace de la sociedad industrial, para conseguir una redimensión de contexto y función, donde la obra evoluciona hacia una pintura casi escultórica. Una pintura poco convencional, que se interroga sobre el paso del tiempo, sobre los efectos de la naturaleza en los materiales, al mismo tiempo que analiza los límites mismos de la plástica y juega con las paradojas sensoriales de las formas que emergen de los cuadros.
