En Plein Air Oil Painting
Class is for beginners or furthering your skills as you explore new methods and materials oil painting. Join us for a relaxed approach to oil painting. Step by step instruction in creating an oil painting you will be proud of. Instructor- Bernard McTigue holds a BFA from Lyme Art Academy.

Class is for beginners or furthering your skills as you explore design, color, value, texture and patterns.
These classes will be informative and fun.! Illustrations of the painting process.
Instructor- P.J. holds a BFA degree from Paier College of Fine Art.

Learn basic drawing skills or further your skills by drawing from life. Begin by rendering basic shapes
and progress to stil life compositions. Student will be exposed to elements of perspective and the skills
necessary to perceive and understand three-dimensional form.

Artisans Harbor Main Street Old Saybrook -Announcing New Artists /Open House Art Demo Evening/Classes for August!
Open House Art Demonstrations Evening with refreshments Sat. Aug. 20, 5-7pm. Meet our new artists oil landscape painters Chuck Urban, Andrea Wiley, Daniel Dalhstrom, Jere Rowland, Blaise Auberson, acrylic & pastel painter Gigi M. Genovese, sculptor Lori Rembetski, and jewelers Jen Conroy and Gloria Nillson are the new artists showing thru Aug. 30th. These artists join our award winning and recognized Ct. artists Angela Dandurand, P.J. Cook, Bernard McTigue, Vincent Elliott, Susan Tino Santillo, Mike Eagle, Susan Carden- Flicker, and Susan Trombly . Their paintings in oil, acrylic, & watercolor depict beautiful sea & landscapes, river and pasture scenes, & florals. We are also displaying the works of jewelers, Marcia Moore, Mark & Marcia Goldreich, Malrena Mulrain, and Andrea Pollak, who create exquisite one of a kind handcrafted necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Artist John Houle displays a large collection of his landscapes, fish and wildlife in his unique technique wood burning scrimshaws. The pottery works of Kathy Citron, Pat Rist, and Ulrika Wettlaufer include one of a kind vases, platters, plates, bowls, & mugs. Our artworks collection also includes the photography of Barbara Vietzke, Frederick Mott, and Chip Rutan. Scenic handpainted tables, chairs and stools created by painter P.J. Cook, & beautiful hand painted crystal by artist Carole Young. Furniture maker Richmond Bell offers beautiful hand crafted tables. Please come and enjoy the beautiful artwork, and soothing music, in our casual & affordable gallery this month with us.
Connecticut Artists in all mediums are invited to display artworks- we promote and market for you.
