Safir (Dorina Pantea) and Rifas (Diana Pantea) are contemporary Romanian artists. Through years of dedicated study at the faculty, master, and Ph.D. levels, they have acquired the experience and values foundational to any artist's growth. Central to their artistic philosophy is the belief that diversity in ideas and concepts is an essential catalyst for the development and introduction of "innovation" in the art world—a belief encapsulated in their conviction that "the image creates the most magnificent cocktail of effect and sensation."
Both professionally trained and educated in both traditional and digital art, Safir and Rifas emphasize the perpetual learning process. They ardently embrace the idea that there are always new things to explore and master, welcoming opportunities for continuous artistic development.
The artistic duo envisions bringing new values to the forefront of their creations—values defined by the presence of diversity and originality in their ideas and artworks, designed not only to be feasible but also to have a massive impact. Their artistic repertoire spans across various mediums, encompassing traditional painting in both figurative and abstract forms, original concepts, photography, photo-manipulation, and digital art.
One notable facet of their artistic expression is found in mixed-technique paintings, where the duo seamlessly combines different materials and textures such as cloth, cardboard, plywood, crystals, and pulp color. These elements are skillfully integrated into the coherent compositional structure of their artworks. The result is a visual dialogue that allows for the free flow evolution and informal gestures, simultaneously stimulating disintegrative forces and clarifying forms of human traits. The wandering spirits in their creations push the boundaries of a symbolic dialogue with the audience.
Safir and Rifas delve into a broad spectrum of themes, addressing psychological, philosophical, mystical, mythological, fantastic, romantic, literary, mathematical, and metaphorical visions prior to painting. But there is nothing truly dark about the inevitable. Indeed the end is in us all, it is something we all desire eventually. So much so that we have invented an angel for it, a personification for it, a culture for it, a language for it and even a being, all in an attempt to understand something we do not truly comprehend.
So to see something as a death angel enlightened by the speckle of a thorned figure associated with and symbolic of self sacrifice provides a glimmer of knowledge to the proceedings.

This was my gut instinct to seeing the amazing works of Safir and Rifas a collection of darkly themed, sometimes gothic yet always astounding and interesting works of art.
Every single piece is a literal masterpiece, we love it, I'm in love with it!
So many negative emotions explored yet done so beautifully and thoughtfully.
The titles of every single piece stand out in mind. Queen Bathory, Metamorphosis, Self mutilation, Login to Dracula's Land all capture the attention.
Execution is superb, brilliant. My heart screams out in orgasm and absolutist joy just wanting to discover more, wanting to dwell on each and every individual piece an eternity.

Safir(Dorina Pantea) and Rifas(Diana Pantea) born on 11.23.1987, 28.04.1983 in Deva.
Over the years of study in faculty, master and PHD studies, we gained the experience and values necessary for any artist, also we consider that, the diversity in ideas and concepts is an essential addition to development and introduction of "innovation" in the Art World:"the image create the most magnificent cocktail of effect and sensation".
What we mean is that we are , professionally trained and educated in both traditional and digital art, but always there are new things to learn, just to be given the chance to do so.
The new values that we would bring through our creation in Art is that the diversity and originality would be present in our ideas and artworks that would become not only feasible but also of massive impact.
Our creations include traditional painting, figurative or abstract, original concepts, photography, photo - manipulation, digital art.
Mixed technique paintings are made by joining or patching pictorial surface with different combinations of materials and textures of cloth, cardboard, plywood, crystals and pulp color, well integrated in the coherence compositional structure.
On the one hand, we give free will to the flow evolution and informal gestures, stimulating disintegrative forces, and on the other hand, clarifying forms of human traits, these wandering spirits are pushed to the limit of a symbolic dialogue with the audience.
Substrate raise topics of psychological, philosophical, mystical, mythological, fantastic, romantic, literary, mathematical, metaphorical vision prior to painting, through metamorphosis and anamorphosis the figurative to the abstract images, from real to imaginary.
"Diversity and originality are two concepts that characterize me.
When someone chooses to go on a single road, his vision is blurred and he will not notice anything around him, this happens in art also, so I chose not to follow only one "art direction",instead I divesified my artistic approach.
One thing can be recognized in my work and this is the personal touch of my style, this does not change, it's an personal and artistic DNA.

"Matter and deformed concept of the relief form are the two approaches that define my art.What I want to output through my work is that whatever has shape, color, and relief and is tangible as matter is ephemeral. Materiality does not last, and yet, we are trying to capture its time and duration through painting. Everything starts from a point, then materializes in a form, a notion of reality.
Reality defines us but we are not characterize by it, what makes us unique is our imagination and creative ability, that's why my artistic theme has varied artistic approaches, and the link between real and imaginary is the raw material and the relief applied on evenness of the canvas.
