Her paintings began with a foundation in realism, and she continued to explore new methods, styles, and materials throughout her life. She draws inspiration from nature and and her love of plants, living in London and all its elements and diversities: the inner city life, the urban living and cultural differences, and the sky, the land, memory and emotion; past and present. These sources of inspiration are used to create interesting and occasionally abstract landscapes that spring to life on the canvas.
