MICHAŁ NOWAKOWSKI, born in 1967, member of the Association of Polish Artists and the Society of Equestrian Artists in Great Britain. He has been painting professionally since 1992. Mainly oil and acrylic paintings and drawing techniques – ink, pencil, charcoal, digital art. Author of numerous illustrations for books and stories. His main interests include animalistic painting, horses, equestrianism, landscape and colors of nature, but also battles and portraits. Living in the provinces, she looks for inspiration primarily in the nature surrounding us, the animal world in which the horse occupies a special place due to its beauty and history. As a self-educator, he developed his craft over the years, primarily by drawing and painting from nature, studying anatomy, but also willingly making copies of paintings by old masters. History is his second passion, next to painting. Hence, battle scenes praising the glory of Polish weapons often appear in Michał's works. As a versatile artist, he also likes to explore other subjects such as landscape and portraiture. Favorite style is realism and hyperrealism

Głównie obrazy olejne, akrylowe i techniki rysunkowe – tusz, ołówek, węgiel, digital art. Autor licznych ilustracji do książek i opowiadań. Główne zainteresowania to malarstwo animalistyczne, konie, jeździectwo, krajobraz i kolory natury ale także batalistyka i portret. Mieszkając na prowincji inspiracji przede szuka w otaczającej nas przyrodzie, świecie zwierząt w którym koń ze względu na swoje piękno i historię zajmuje szczególne miejsce. Jako autodydakta przez lata rozwijał swój warsztat przede wszystkim rysując i malując z natury, studiując anatomię, ale chętnie też wykonując kopie obrazów dawnych mistrzów. Historia to obok malarstwa druga jego pasja. Stąd też często w pracach Michała pojawiają się sceny batalistyczne sławiące chwałę polskiego oręża. Jako wszechstronny artysta lubi też eksplorować inne tematy, takie jak krajobraz i portret. Ulubiony styl to realizm i hiperrealizm
