I have chosen a palette that is relevant this year for my new work, and I did it intentionally, perhaps this work will attract more attention to the important topic of water exhaustion in our Common Home. And it is no coincidence that there are such jugs against the background of ornaments. In my childhood, I found times when women brought water and I happened to take part in it. I did it with joy! The jugs are extremely beautiful and very heavy. It seemed that not every man could carry it.Therefore, each drop of water had its own value. Worth its weight in gold. There are still problems with water in the third World countries to this day. Now civilization has opened the tap-as much water as you want. But a person, such a nature: what we easily get, has less value for us. Unfortunately... For all mankind, this could turn into a catastrophe. Our green-blue Earth is at risk of becoming lifeless, or rather, it is we, humanity, who are at great risk of leaving a scorched field to their children and grandchildren. I decided to start with myself and I encourage everyone to do this! Take care of the water, even if you are on the river bank.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I was born in a place and time that had strong racist and nationalist sentiments.
All my childhood I tried to hide my origin, fearing aggression from children.
Under the influence of society, I left my work, which always dealt with ethical topics.

After many years, I returned to creativity, already in adulthood. Now I am protesting to a society that has prejudices and judgments that violate the rights of national minorities.
My credo in life is not to deceive yourself, not to forget who he was born and to carry his cultural code.

I love history and material heritage. very often I compare my childhood
memories with emotions, thus the plot of my works arises. From time to time I
immerse myself in my childhood memories and feel the emotions that I experienced as a
child. But now my life experience is already superimposed on it, and these memories
take on new outlines, which form the basis of the plot of my works.
Carpet weaving inspires me especially.

carpet weaving. I feel the feminine essence of my
grandmothers and great-grandmothers reviving in me. After all, just like my mother, they were all engaged in this craft.
The carpet-weaving ritual always sends my thoughts back to my distant childhood and transports me to the land of my ancestors,
like an instant wind. Unlike my ancestors, I "weave" carpets using canvas and a brush.
In my "carpets", which will bring an
authentic twist to any modern interior, I combine traditional
artistic materials with new ones. A peculiar connection of generations on canvas, in which both classical oil and practical acrylic are found.

In my works, you can see a collective image of a Caucasian girl of the past years, which reflects the traditions, character and mentality of that time to the viewer. Through the prism of modernity, where the boundaries of what is permissible and forbidden are erased, in
a world where there are no duties, but only rights, this girl, like a fragile delicate flower
, makes her way to life, through the cold stone jungle of technological cities.

Popularizing the art of the ancient people of the Caucasus, I want to remind people of their roots, not
only those from the Caucasus, but everyone. In the modern progressive world, where the boundaries of
cultures and religions are being erased, it is necessary to preserve its authenticity. Your nationality is yours
uniqueness, not a disadvantage!
