Biography

Marisa Basile was born in Padua. She was a self-taught paintress in her artistic training; her works tend to the modern figurative painting, realized with oil and water-colour techniques. During her artistic activity she has taken part in a great number of collective and one-man exhibitions held in Italy and abroad.

To mention the most recent ones; 1985 - "La Lizza d'Oro", Marina di Carrara; 1986 - "Confronti", Villa Contarini; Meeting Amici dell'Arte e del Pattino, Marina di Carrara; 1988 - Cultural Centre "La Donna nell'Arte", Ponte San Nicol6 (PD). She is mentioned in several publications and Art catalogues such as: International Catalogue of Modern Art; M D S n° 4 - Cida Art Editions Rome; Corned Year-book 1988; L'Elite Edition 1986.
