"EXPRESSIONS FROM WITHIN" 

My passion has accompanied and often illustrated “My journey through life for art in its different media. It is this that helps me to find who I am. I hope and trust that you will enjoy these expressions from within”.

Manohar is a self-taught artist. Over the years, he has developed an original style and technique using mostly acrylic and oil paints on canvas. He also does oil pastel and pencil sketches and metal embossing on aluminium and copper sheets.

Back in 1976, he began using art as a therapeutic tool for people with mental disabilities & Illness. It has now been over 40 years since he began his profession as a social worker and a trained counsellor.

He founded an organization for children with mental disabilities from the economically backward slums and rural areas of Mysore, Karnataka, in India. He continues to provide counselling services to persons with physical and mental disabilities and their families.

His art expresses his personal journey through life and of his relationship with marginalized people.

He has so far been exhibiting his works only online and is well appreciated by many. Now he wishes to share and sell his paintings to the international community, to support and continue his work for the disabled.
