In the tradition of the painters of street, Itta constantly walks with, under the arm, a notebook of sketch which fills at an astonishing speed. Drafts, movements, frays of features and curves are added in a series with moments stolen at the time which passes. These transitory moments thus preserve all the force of their authenticity, on paper but more still in the spirit of the artist. In her atelier, with different media, Itta extracts then quintessence from her innumerable sketches to lead to an increased composition which magnifie the moment, the movement, the attitude and feelings. Work on the line, the matter and the shades which is carried out in an atmosphere of luminous intimacy. Handling the color with an extreme wisdom, she can decline about it the most subtle nuances. Bathed music, her painting is also the satisfaction of a pleasure which she likes to share. It is a communion with the world which surrounds her and gives some a clear and deeply human image, in a style at the same time vigorous and full with softness.
