L'inchiostro è una sostanza colorata pastosa o liquida (coloranti, coloranti o pigmenti), ampiamente utilizzata nella stampa come nell'art. Inchiostro ad acquerello, lavaggio (uso di un unico colore che viene diluito per ottenere diverse intensità di tinte), china, nerofumo, seppia...
