felicitation, superbe peinture !
The symbolic nature of this work is stunningly original: By foreshortening the coign of vantage at the end of the table's perspective with both tonal hatching (of the cloth) and the flat blue of the background; the subject---the vase, primarily; and the flowers, to a lesser extent, are "edged" to unseen & clashing vanishing points. It is as if the season itself threatens to upend the unstable footing of the subject. Brava, I. Trifonova.
