Momchil Popov

As one of the first masters of the political collage in Bulgaria from the 90’s, today Momchil Popov is returning to this kind of expression. He was born in 1957 in Sofia, graduated successfully design and literature, he calls himself a Veteran from the cold war. Fourth generation artist - like a soldier in the army he makes posters in “socialists realism” style. He is also a journalist with over 500 publications, a photographer with three individual exhibitions, a writer – with 5 (prohibited or allowed) books www.popovart-sofia.eu, today Momchil Popov is trying to understand if the life of living is really beautiful or is one perfect grotesque.
