"The "Sakura" series celebrates the year-long evolution of the Sakura, beyond its blooming stage in April. I feel we often don’t pay attention to little things and people are focused on instant gratification. Cherry blossoms are appreciated universally but we forget that those trees stand in position and survive through all year seasonal change. I wanted to celebrate the beauty of nature that we normally neglect - the existence of life at all moment of time." - Eun Vivian Lee

Based in New York City, Eun Vivian Lee is a contemporary Korean artist best known for her colorful, bold, and compelling pigment paint dot paintings. After attending Pratt institute to receive her Bachelor's degree, Lee evolved and refined her unique approach to painting in New York City for the next 20 years. She now travels and works in Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore and New York City.

Since 2016, Lee has worked with pigment paints and a perfectly defined grid structure lined by lightly drawn pencil to create her distinct pieces. Through the meticulous and repetitive work of dropping and creating dots onto grids of handmade paper, Lee finds peace and mindful healing.
