What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)
When I was three years old, my brother gave me a crayon. I have been painting ever since.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?
I originally attended the School of Arts and Crafts, completed several further education courses at international universities and also managed marketing & communications, branding and design departments in international companies for many years. I have always been fascinated by portraits and pop art. Now I have combined them in my brand Poptonicart.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?
Blending between a new kind of art and traditional art. Colour combinations - subjects are from everyday life - style is always the same. All the paintings are very expressive and I have a personal connection to each one. They tell from my life.

Where does your inspiration come from?
Everyday life inspires me - everything I experience I process in my pictures. Life is the most exciting thing of all.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?
I want the people who look at my pictures to enjoy them.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or others)?
I am inspired by my everyday life. My technique is a mixed technique.

Do you use a particular work technique? if so, can you explain it?
I have tried all sorts of things over the years. At the moment it is a mixed technique between digital, print and acrylic.

Are there any innovative aspects in your work? Can you tell us which ones?
Combination of new and old techniques.

Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? if yes, why ?
Portraits on canvas or NFTs.

Where do you produce your works? At home, in a shared workshop or in your own workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?
My studio is on the bottom floor of my home on Lake Zurich.

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?
International exchange is very important - both physically and online. I cultivate both.

How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?
A wonderful question - it would be wonderful for me to be represented in galleries in different countries and also to sell NFTs with big galleries.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?
My latest paintings are mainly portraits of women in different everyday situations with happy colours - mixed media.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?
Every exhibition is always a thrill as I get direct feedback.

If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why ?
Not an actual work of art - but, the technique of Andy Warhol or of Bansky - I find incredibly fascinating.

If you could invite one famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest he spend the evening?
Bansky - that would be incredibly exciting.
