I have been using Artmajeur for almost 10 years and your advice is always very useful to me.

So I sold three works at once (two paintings and a large drawing) to the same collector. These sales happened very simply.

We have agreed on the most reliable and direct method of payment; the bank transfer.

To check the reliability of the buyer, I first used the tools offered by Artmajeur, then I carried out a broader check on the internet, in particular on sites listing scams, and finally a more detailed search on the name. and contact details of the buyer. It turned out that he was a well-known personality in his country, but an identity theft not being impossible, I remained suspicious. What reassured me is that through a very courteous and cordial exchange of emails, it appeared that it was indeed the right person. Despite everything, I cautiously waited for the transfer before shipping the canvases, which we had also agreed together anyway.

Yes, I used the order form system offered by Artmajeur.

I spend very little time administering my Artmajeur account and profile. On average less than an hour per week. The image management system works for me, although the ability to enter several new images at once would satisfy me more.

I have been using Artmajeur for almost 10 years and your advice is always very useful to me.

I have been recommending your site to artist friends for a long time. I must have done it dozens of times. I know many of them are on Artmajeur today.

Access to the international market is very important and essential for me. Indeed there is an international dimension in the contacts established on the site. The proof my buyer is from Luxembourg.

The direct relationship with the client is essential for me. Art lovers generally like to meet and/or discuss with the artist whose work they admire, it is, in my opinion, essential to communicate directly with them. Talking to them about our work, our approach can often convince them and encourage them to make a purchase. And for those already convinced, we can turn a simple occasional buyer into a collector who will follow us for many years.

My advice: Always check, as you strongly recommend on your site, the identity of the potential buyer and always wait for the actual payment before sending the works.

Selling a work of art via the internet to someone who has never seen your work in person is not easy, so you have to be as "professional" as possible.

Do not try to sell at all costs by undervaluing your work. Stay consistent in pricing.

Present good quality images that are as faithful as possible to the original.
