Née en 1970 à Czestochowa en Pologne, Kasia Zaro est arrivée en France à l’âge de 13 ans avec ses parents et son frère, réfugiés politiques.
Sa pratique artistique a depuis longtemps oscillé entre la musique et la peinture.
Autodidacte, elle peint depuis une vingtaine d’années en parallèle de son investissement professionnel dans l’éducation spécialisée.
Sa peinture s’attache à exprimer avant tout les émotions humaines, les injustices sociales.
Elle dit « être toujours à la rencontre de ses personnages ».
Elle fait partie du collectif d’artistes « Rétine Sauvage » et a participé à plusieurs expositions collectives et personnelles.
Elle vit et travaille à Orléans.
En juin 2018, elle rejoint avec quelques unes de ses oeuvres, le 1er Musée d'Art Singulier ( le M.A.S) du Québec.
Le M.A.S. est installé dans une ancienne église de Mansonville, village collé à la frontière américaine, dans les Cantons de l’est du Québec.
