I was born in Casablanca, Morocco, looking towards my El Dorado, France, nourished by literature, poetry, theater and all forms of art...Passionate about French culture, I was eagerly awaiting adulthood to study at a French university!
With my diplomas in hand, I dedicated myself with ardor to the profession of Spanish teacher: the language, poetry, the country, a place of refuge in difficult times, young people and the joy of transmitting one's passion, the discovery of Salamanca which was my place of study and meditation for many years...

It was around the age of fifty when doubt crept into the meaning of my profession and an invading malaise set in, that painting became obvious to me. My meeting with a painter changed the course of my life, she was a marvelous teacher attentive to the freedom of the other in creation and in me was revealed an artistic personality that I did not suspect; she continues to be a wise and watchful counselor, careful not to let me sink into comfortable, caring ease...at the cost of suffering and pain necessary for creativity...

Since 2003 I have participated in many fairs in the Paris region and in collective exhibitions within the association "Contrastes" (contemporary art association bringing together all forms of artistic expression)

I received the prize from the Amicale des artistes de Clichy-sous-bois Montfermeil in October 2006

In June 2008 personal exhibition at the Town Hall of Montfermeil

"Inner paths" paintings and poems
which trace my journey in the form of impressions around deserted and obsolete hotels, cafes, zincs
of my childhood imbued with readings by authors such as Colette, Simenon, Modiano, Federico Garcia Lorca,
and other painters and photographers like Edward Hopper or Stephen Shore or Martin Parr
bringing a bit of derision
to these lonely women who haunt these silent places..

Loss of love and nostalgia for a lost childhood, left in the Algeria of my ancestors and in the Morocco of my young years...
