" The creative work of Joseph Kapelyan is an enormous world containing everyday life’s prose along with aspirations towards astral heights. The artist’s talent is charged with an energy of intense mystical, moral and creative searching.
Kapelyan`s diligence and ability to work are impressive, his erudition, the versatility of his talent, professional level of his work command respect. But most of all what distinguishes the artist is his elevated order of thoughts and feelings, the unity of philosophical and esoteric conception in the creation of the world and men, past, present and future.
Nearing the end of such a tragic and dramatic past century and in anticipation of a troubling uncertainty of the approaching centennial we find a much needed charge of historic optimism in the work of J. Kapelyan. His art creates a penetrating "magnetic field" of metaphysical and artistic forces..."

Professor Gregory Ostrovsky
Dr. of Fine Arts

" Joseph Kapelyan`s paintings are a sensitive song of loneliness and longings, of a dream of tender wistfulness and beauty – a world of inspiration.
Behind each square centimeter of canvas, there is his passionate love for colour and constant striving for perfection.
Kapelyan`s pictures are an enchanted dialoque carried on with the spiritual and the pure. His art is, indeed, the enchanted land that abounds in poetry and human warmth. Whoever discovers this world cannot but be infected by a lust for life and love for humanity pervade..."
