Sono nata ad Ariccia dove attualmente vivo, la mia città è a 20 chilometri da Roma, sui Castelli Romani. La pittura è il mio modo di osservare, conoscere e condividere la bellezza del mondo intorno a me. Amo la possibilità di catturare più dettagli negli oggetti e soggetti che ritraggo, così come il tentativo di sperimentare l’uso di tecniche diverse su materiali diversi. Questo modo di interpretare la realtà mi costringe a prendere tempo nell’osservare ed apprezzare le piccole cose, con l’obiettivo di riuscire a catturare momenti e fermarli nel tempo.
Ho iniziato a dipingere come autodidatta, con ausilio di libri e tanta voglia di imparare. Poi per maggiori conoscenze ho frequentato diversi corsi: restauro; pittura ad olio ed acquarello e pittura botanica; manufatti in ceramica e pittura su porcellana; decorazione d’interni con specializzazione in Trompe L’Oeil; progettazione e realizzazione di grottesche con l’utilizzo di tempera all’uovo; decorazione su tessuti con pigmenti e legante. Ogni corso mi ha fatto provare nuovi modi di utilizzare il colore e le diverse sfaccettature che può avere un dipinto e il modo in cui si affronta. L’approccio con le diverse tecniche mi hanno fatto capire che oltre la tecnica ci vuole umiltà, impegno paziente e graduale. Consapevole di avere ancora molto da imparare e pensando che sia proprio questo il fascino, qualunque sia la tecnica utilizzata, sperimentare e provare è la realtà più bella.
