Oleg Putilin is a contemporary Latvian artist. Immersing himself in the craft of foundry, the artist dedicated several years to its study, personally undertaking the casting of numerous bronze creations. His quest for artistic enrichment led him to Moscow, where he expanded his creative horizons at the University of Arts named after N.K. Krupskaya, under the guidance of accomplished instructors N. Kasatkina and N. Shestakov.
For over four decades, Oleg Putilin has passionately delved into the realms of sculpture, jewelry crafting, and the intricate world of artistic weaponry. He has nurtured his own workshop, a sanctuary where his creative visions materialize. In 2014, he expanded his artistic domain further by establishing a personal gallery in Riga. This space serves as a permanent repository for his creations, a constantly evolving exhibit that witnesses the addition of new works over time. Beyond his own artistic pursuits, his gallery also opens its doors to host exhibitions featuring paintings and drawings by various artists, breathing life into a vibrant artistic community.
