About the author
At the beginning I painted out of necessity of my soul, I felt the need to paint, I could have painted everything but my energy spontaneously turned to the theme of the relationship between the sea and man.
I expressed with my colors, then, the thematic poles of a painting entirely played around a parallelism between the two subjects, highlighted by means of vocative paintings and, through the same rhetorical device, bringing them closer to each other: the beauty and power of an inimitable sea and the human soul narrated in all its seasons, eternal fighters and implacable brothers.
I then, more and more consciously, began to turn my attention to the theme of the feminine in its many facets, observing the eyes, bodies and hands of women and imagining them transfigured into a story to tell.
And that's how my women were born, small women and big women, mothers and daughters, women friends.
Going forward I came to tell life in its generality, also through the punctual observation of unknown people, approaching them to me and being almost extensively kidnapped: I collected their bodies, postures, souls, magic, translating their intimate and certain beauty.
Over time, I have passed from a painting intended as nourishment of the soul, to a painting that becomes a physical requirement ... that becomes essential breath, and that through the expression of beauty - that of nature, people, stories and situations - tries to achieve the goal of immediately representing the joy of living.
Thus, if the vision of one of my works will allow one or all observers to be pleasantly transported to a remote corner of their memories of distant joy, then I will be satisfied and I will be able to perfect my intent: everything else does not matter. !
