About this artwork: Central Exhibition Hall "Manege", a unique monument in the heart of Moscow, the architect, Augustine Betancourt. Official opening of the "Manege" was held November 30, 1817. From 1831 the year in the "Manege" became the place of art and industrial exhibitions, festivals, balls. In 1867 there was a concert attended by 12,000 spectators, and the orchestra and chorus conducted by Hector Berlioz and Nikolai Rubinstein.
