Born in Chaves, Portugal in 1976…Paulo Fontinha showed an aptitude for line and color from an early age…Self-taught, he began to open his works to the world in October 2009, the date of his first collective exhibition, after being discovered and driven by “Tamagani”-Association of Visual Artists of Alto Tâmega and Vale de Monterrey (Spain).
Since that moment and in the space of a year, several events and exhibitions have been attended by him, being represented in private and state collections.
His works are characterized by his mastery of curved lines and intense colors…expressing himself in the form of painting and sculpture, using acrylic colors, combinations of plaster with acrylic and enamel.
