Original Artwork
Painting,
- Dimensions Height 39.4in, Width 39.4in
I consider myself cosmopolitan.I grew up in Austria where I started to
study architecture.
The desire to get to know and live different cultures brought me to
spend the following 8 years in Rome, Milan, Paris, New York,
Hongkong and London, where I formed myself as an artist and textile
designer, also working in the fashion business.
For the last 20 years I have been living in the hills of Casale
Monferrato.
My paintings are of organic imprint, they are a continuous dialog
with mother nature, as I live in close contact with nature and get from
her a lot of inspiration.
In my paintings I like to show nature ever expanding , in contrast to
man’s concrete world. I prepare my screens with paper, sand and
other organic material.
With my colors I try to transport the spectator in an imaginary
dimension, surreal and fantastic world full of magic, and this is why
colors are the most important part in my paintings.
With their help I show a dimension but also what is hidden
underneath.
