Vladimir Daibov was born in the city of Revda, Sverdlovsk region in 1952. He received his education at the Leningrad Art College named after V. A. Serov, from which he graduated in 1980.
Awarded diplomas of the Union of Artists of Russia (1994, 2005, 2006) and the Russian Academy of Arts (1995), winner of the Bryansk Region Governor's Award "For the Best Landscape" (2002), the A. A. Deineka Award (2006), established by the Governor of the Kursk region. Participant of regional, interregional, all-Russian and international art exhibitions.
Vladimir Daibov's plastic language is recognizable by its categoricality, asceticism and apparent simplicity. He perfectly possesses the skill of selecting a few, but the most capacious details to create bright, expressive images. Extreme laconism is one of the main components of Vladimir Daibov's creativity.
